A pictorial look at my recent voyage.

So I'm back and feeling rested. I've been slowly easing myself into work and my regular routine. Like tonight for instance, I just finished a 10km bike ride and I'm waiting for a chicken to cook while updating this blog...multi tasking at it's best.

Anyhow, The following are some photos that I took before, during and after the race. Enjoy

This is what we stand to win

Andru Lordly Driving the boat like he stole it.

After Ian went overboard on the first day and was retrieved safe and sound he was pretty happy.

This fishing boat had trawling lines in the water and came WAY to close to us for comfort. He did however comment on how friggin fast we were going.

Andru and his Basque Hat. He fit right in with the locals when he wore it...note to self, get red hat for next trip to Saint Pierre.

Beers I consumed.

This is what was called a BBQ. I didn't see any cows on the Island so I'm not surprised. The desert was really good.

I was hanging out drinking my beer when Andru came running into the Tent and said: "Jonny, you have to go outside right now and take a photo of the mountain". Glad I did.

We stole some hobie cats and went racing. Ian Mosher makes a perfect crew person.

More pics of us racing. It was an international race with crews from the USA, France, Canada.

This is me sailing fast...just the way I like it.

A small boat can still be fun.

We had the spinnaker up for over 36 hours.

Now this one is interesting. During the Hopping Penguins set this guy got up on stage wearing a jock strap and a hockey mask. He grabbed a microphone and shoved it down the front of the cup and started playing his cup like a drum with drumsticks. Some girl got up and played it for him too. I have some video that will give you a great idea of what it looked like. He vanished after the girl left the stage never to be seen again? All he gave us was his name: The Great Cocksolio.

Cool lighthouse on Saint Pierre.

My buddy Zander the raggae king. As soon as he heard the first raggae bass lines he ran 1km back to the Bluenose 2 to get his pork pie hat and Jamaica jersey and danced all night long. We drank rum out of dory's together and told jokes not realizing that his brother Marley and I know eachother well. I am glad that we got a chance to hang out with such a great guy.
